Great Time for an Update

Love New Leaf, but I stopped playing awhile ago after losing some of my little dog friends to unexpected moves. I was searching for news about a new AC being included in the Nintendo Switch launch, when I came across this update. Now I'm feeling that pull again to play! Ran to Best Buy looking for cards so I can move Bones and Walker back home...no luck yet but I'm not giving up! Do you think Nintendo has dropped this update as a teaser for a new AC game? I hope so...I miss playing on the big screen!

I know, lol...they were probably trying to find a way to move the rest of their WiiUs and amiibo cards. I'll just keep my fingers crossed for a new game and some dog cards!

Same actually. My DS told me to update and I was like ok. I had read about this update by skimming just once so didn't stick with me with life going on. Then I was like oh yeah...amiibo. Maybe I should give in...

Have you moved in any amigo villagers yet? I'm looking for wisp and might buy another pack of cards tomorrow...feeling lucky.

With this new update I do wish Nintendo would reissue series 1-4 Amiibo cards. It's very difficult to find some of the older series cards and if you are lucky enough to find them they are insanely priced.

Well I don't think it's a teaser per say, I've always loved and never stopped playing AC:NL. I mean sure there's been times where I've played other games a little more than AC:NL during new released but that never broke my stride in playing AC:NL and now with the new update, it's given me the little extra boost to play more often. I'm still trying to get everything from paintings & statues, fossils, fish and bugs etc.

No unfortunately, nintendo have dropped this update for us simply as a quick way to make some extra cash in the long run, their is as of yet no announcement of any animal crossing game for the switch as to be honest I don't think there will be anything animal crossing released until the switch is out, which is a long way away, you got sucked into their scheme.

I've been getting most of the items via powersaves and the villagers I want are easily obtainable through people here. There's zero reason for me to buy anything. Try again Nintendo.

I'm sure it's a good way for them to move that overstock inventory of AC amiibo that's floating around everywhere.
