i saw it over winter break... or maybe spring break, i dont remember... whenever it was in theaters... and i thought it was a really good movie... made a really good point.

Vietnam vet who lives in a neighborhood where a bunch of minorities are moving in, where he eventually is now the only white guy left in his hood. he's pretty racist, too... but his neighbor kid is forced to try stealing his vintage gran torino car by the neighborhood gang, so to repay clint eastwood for trying to steal his car he does work around the neighborhood, and eastwood gets to know him, and becomes less racist as the movie goes on, but realizes the kid is screwed and gonna end up in a gang... and he wants that to not happen...pear40 said:
