Gracie - You Suck

To make my day worse, while trying to get Hippeux out, Gracie shows up with the hardest theme ever. Modern. I only have shirts and she hates everything else I have.
Anyone else have problems with Gracie? Like, the outfits are all wrong and stuff?

I wish I had your problem...I've had TIY for 26 days and I've spent over 100,000 bells there and Gracie hasn't been to my town once, except to order coffee.

I don't have ANY Modern ware stored. I really need to prep the outfits beforehand- I was lucky enough to pass her test on every visit.

Ornate was the toughest for me since the list is so small and half the items are uber expensive.

Gracie came today, thankfully she wanted the Official theme and I had a bunch of stuff for that. I ran over to T.I.Y and Able Sisters to get some more items and order some ones I previously bought but sold/gave away to neighbors/friends. Hopefully she will come back around in a few days once my items have come in the mail.

Modern theme is the absolute worst! A lot of the modern themed items can only be bought from her store which is totally unfair. I too only have a modern shirt and hope to god that i don't get it for my last theme. This week I had Flashy and had some trouble putting together an outfit to pass that. Why can't it just be cute or basic every week?

I don't have a lot of the modern or ornate things. I have some cute things, but someone stole my big bro mustache.

I got modern right off the bat...I had shoes, sunglasses and a shirt and I mixed it with all cute items to fill in the gaps and she loved it...you need at least 3 pieces...the clogs and oval shades and jade check print or grape stripe tee mixed with cute bottoms, socks and headwear got me the good score...here is a picture of what I wore that passed the modern test:

This is why I buy random clothes and store them until Gracie decides to open up her shop. Luckily, I only need to pass 1 more fashion check. Then I can clear my closet. ;u; I know you can still mix and match but they have to be specific. If certain items clash like sporty and official, then she'll fail you. Combinations like historical and official work though.
