I always miss the sales, how do you get the items on sale? Plus what percentage are they off?

Well, during the sales, half of the store is selling the same stuff the rest of the season sells, but for a discount, and the other half sells completely new stuff that only shows up during the sales. All of the sale-only stuff is full-price though. As for the discounted items, I don't know the exact decrease, but I do know that they get less expensive as the sale wears on, so it'll be cheaper towards the end of the sale than at the beginning.

They start on the last month of each season, so February, May, August, and November, on the 15th, and end at the beginning of the new season. :)

No, that's not what I mean. Like the instore sales, when do they start? I always go into the store @ 12PM but only the items not on sale are left.

Do you mean instore sales on your bulletin board? Those are for only the 1st and 2nd floor.
Gracie sales start on the 15 to the end of the month before the next season starts.
Some time all the regular items in Gracies can be sold out. As the sale goes on the prices drop. Think I only paid 2K for shearling boot towards the end. The other side has sale items but you have to pay full price.
So when Princess rolls around you can get it low but you might miss out collecting the set.
The other items only show up 4 time for about 15 days. So you might want to get them while you can.

No, no. I mean like the timeframe. OK, it's the 16th. What time period do I have to get it? Like 9AM - 12PM, what?

The sale is from opening to closing. If you let people in before you shop than they might buy the items.
The next sale is on May 15th.

There is no time frame. The sale runs all day, every day, until the first of the new month.

ETA: Oh... Well T&T Emporium is open 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM so yeah, that's how long the sale runs for. :)

I'd say get there as early in the day as humanly possible. Like, right at opening time. Any later and you're pushing it, I think - I've showed up round noon or later and found the place picked clean through, and had Gracie chastise me for taking too long to get there, or something similar.

I've never had that happen; though I have gotten there at 9:00 AM and there were sold out signs even though the store had only just opened! I think it's that way to make the sales more difficult to buy everything from, and to justify having it run for 15 days straight LOL.

I don't play my main town until 5pm can still have items to buy.
Sometime it's just cleared out at the beginning and other time I have a full store.
Towards the end I notice that there is less to buy.

Its not that they get "bought" during the day, its that there are more and more sold out items as the days of the sale period progress. By the last few days there are very very few items left on sale, just the card stuff and sale period full priced clothes.
So when the sale starts there will still be maybe 80-90% of the pedestals filled, but by the end half the shop is virtually empty.
If its completely empty that's kinda odd, I'd be wondering if maybe someone else was playing and buying the stuff out cuz your villagers definitely won't.
