Gracie is never in my town TT___TT

I don't get it, I've played every day at random times in the day and she's never been in my town? Am I doing something wrong?

How To Get Gracie;


After the player has expanded the Nookling store in their town to T.I.Y., Gracie will start to visit the town's Plaza on completely random days. However, Gracie may rarely appear for some Players, making it more difficult to get the T&T Emporium. While in the plaza, Gracie expresses an interest in opening a shop, but in order to do so Gracie must check if the fashion sense of the town's people meets Gracie's fashion standards.

I've got the right expansion shes just basically never showing up. Must be one of the unlucky ones

You also need to spend like 70k bells in TIY before she starts showing up. Maybe buy up a bunch of stuff if you aren't sure you've hit that mark.

After fulfilling the necessary requirements mentioned by others above, Gracie should start visiting your town. If you have hard time getting her to visit, I have found that visiting a town that already has GracieGrace/Emporium Upgrade and talking to Gracie while visiting that town causes her to visit (I sometimes have seen her visit immediately afterwards on the same day I visit [make sure that no other special visitors are in town on that day for best results!]; I could be wrong and she came the next day) your town from my experience. Hope this helps!

EDIT: Can anyone else confirm an experience like the one I have or is there something magical about my game or something?

I have multiple towns, all with the full store expansion. With the last few towns, I started buying up everything in the store each day once I had the TIY store - even once I knew I had met the 70K requirement mentioned in a post earlier. I kept buying out the store in between Gracie visits - she showed up approximately every 10 days.

It's random really... Though from the looks of it, buying out the TIY attracts her like a fly. Good luck! I know if you don't cycle if takes forevver to get her. I cheated and cycled, but I was impatient and a office aid at school at the time... So nothing to do xP

was everyday, buy everything in the store, furniture, wall paper, music.
Then sell it back to the mini nooks
Thats how I got my expansions!
Works well!

Buy everything in TIY. Everything. Stationery. Tools. Wipe out the store.

I agree with the previous posts; Gracie is attracted to shoppers!

You should sell your stuff at Re-Tail ... get more bells there than with "the mini nooks".

Only items that get a sold out sign after you buy it counts. Items like paper don't count towards your total.

I bought all items that gave me a sold out sign each day. My main town waited a month before the first check.
My TT town I did it all in one day. My beautiful town Gracie showed up every week. So far the town completed 3 checks and just pass the 30 days from the last store been built. It's the beginning of August there so I think Gracie will show before the end of the month.

I've read posters have waited 4 months for Gracie. Do you have all of your theme together so you pass? Adding another theme that doesn't clash with the theme you get will win you furniture. Thonky Guide has a list for theme that clash.

Yup i'm one of those unlucky players too don't worry its not just you. I've only ever had gracie visit my town twice and that's twice in one month only ;_; i'll never to get to the upgraded nook store ._.
