Gracie Grace won't open up shop?

Alright, so I completed my fourth fashion check back in June, and Gracie told me that she was going to open her shop in my town. I've been waiting forever, and she hasn't came back to my town since! Is there something wrong with my game or something? What should I do?

You might need to spend more BELLS. that happened to my brother, and he figured out it was only because he didnt have the bell requirement.

The current Nooklings store has to have been open for at least 30 days and you have spent 100,000 bells in the store (not catalog).

iirc you can do catalogue purchases too for meeting the upgrade requirements

pretty sure that's how I sped up my store upgrades once I got it. just bought a bunch of moons and then sold them at re-tail to get some of the money back

I'm having the same problem with Gracie Grace. I spent millions of bells at a different department store in hopes of meeting the requirement . Does that count? I thought it did.

You can definitely spend that money in the catalog. I don't think I've ever bought furniture form the actual shop floor of the Nooklings' store, so all of my upgrades, from the original Nookling shop right up to Nookingtons (which i now have) have been paid for using the catalog.

She doesn't appear until you've spent 70k. You need to have spent 100k for her to open up the GracieGrace department. Hope that clears up the confusion.

Lol. I just spent too much on ordering Tower of Pisa's from my catalog and it worked. I'm getting Gracie Grace tomorrow. Thank you all!

oh Thank you. also even once gracie says she will open her store you must wait another 2 days for the bulletin board notice to be posted.
