Happy New Year!

So, I decided to get a cup of coffee from Brewster to ring in the New Year. I head over to the Roost, and who do I find? Tom Nook, getting a New Year's coffee. But it was when I conversed with him that I really felt warm inside.

After talking to Tom Nook, he asks Brewster for multiple bags of coffee and cups to go. He mentions to you that he's picking up three bags for the Able sisters, two cups for Timmy and Tommy, and some coffee for Brewster and Celeste. He also mentions how proud he is of Timmy and Tommy. This is why I think Tom Nook is such a great guy.

That is really cute :) I'm kind of indifferent towards Tom Nook for the most part, but that makes me like him a lot.

Happy New Year!

This is one of the reasons why I like Tom Nook. He's not evil like everyone says he is, he's actually kind-hearted after you finish working for him (in the older games, in New Leaf onwards he's always kind-hearted).

tom nook is kinda sweet, and in hhd all he wants to do is play golf, hehe. i can imagine he's like an embarrassing uncle for timmy&tommy, but he's also a bit of a grandpa... i get when he gets home he puts on his slippers and falls asleep in front of the fireplace

Tom Nook is a crook.
Stay away, and
do not look.

He is not really a villain since being greedy is not enough to claim him to be evil.
I personally find silly that they coded him to force a new villager to do party time for free in Wild World even after the home loan was paid in full.

Besides these ideas of him being a crook off-screen are lame and overrated.

To be perfect honest I thought it was another Tom (the cranky cat) since you don't putted the "Nook" after his name.

I agree and same here. I thought it was going to talk about the cat who looks like Tom from Tom & Jerry too lol

Lol that is so adorable. I've always enjoyed Nook's character. He's sort of like a nutty uncle/nurturing father figure.
