Google releases new Web Browser

Hmm trying it out now, it is at least as fast as firefox, may be faster...

it is simplified...not bad.

It's called internet for idiots.

I can't stand it to tell the truth. WAY to simplified. I suppose it's good for people that only use the interenet every once and awhile, but we'll se what happens.

i haven't tried it yet

is it any good? i'm assuming it's better than IE but worse than firefox

Really I am going to just stick with fire fox, seems to load video faster somehow... although pages like google a hair slower.

Honestly there isn't a lot that it does that firefox doesn't do, and I like my plugins like foxy tunes, so I don't have to change windows to change a song.

I did like how they merged the search/address bar, and it looks sleek, to be expected. I would say definately better than IE, but I still think firefox tops.

Had to try it out though, and while I am not impressed, I can't say it really lacks anything, it just is.

It's very fast, but it's simplified and you cant view flash or videos, etc. This is just a beta so I'm sure the real version will be better. I'm still using IE7 (not IE8 beta because I have it on a different computer and I prefer 7).

Chrome is meant to be a platform for web applications, it's not just a simplified browser.

It uses a modified version of Webkit to render Javascript much faster, and enables Javascript applications to be multi-threaded.
