Hi, I'm just looking for some opinions on whether or not I picked a decent map. I don't have a picture of yet since I just started playing again, and I'll upload one later, but for now, I've circled the map that looks the most like mine in the pic in the link below.

The only major difference between the one circled in the pic and my actual map is that the left-hand cliff next the big waterfall is really narrow. Like obscenely so. I thought when I chose the map that it'd be a good place for my camp site, but there's not really much room there for anything. The town hall, Re-Tail shop, and event plaza are near the top of the map as well. I wanted it like that because I read that was a good placement because it gave you more space to build on the bottom part of the map.
All of the villagers houses and my own are clustered together in one corner of the map next to the off-screen waterfall. They're pretty much as close to the wall as you can get.
I'm sorry if anyone finds this annoying or noobish. Normally, I wouldn't post this here because I feel like I'm bothering people when I ask stupid questions like this, but when I tried researching the issue myself, I found that everyone pretty much had different opinions on the matter. However, a lot of the majority opinions seemed to have evolved greatly. Like a lot of people seem to think a conjoined beach with a smaller private beach isn't attractive now, although people did last summer and such. So I decided to post here and put my mind at ease, as it were.
I know that if I had to, I could probably work any problems these map presented. I plan on putting up some cheap signs to reserve my ideal PWP spaces, but I still would really appreciate it if you guys could give me your opinions on the matter.
