Gold Tools?

I was playing with a friend and she dropped me a golden watering can, can I ask what are the point of gold tools and how do I get them?

So essentially, they just do a better job than the regular tools. For the gold net and rod, you must catch one of each fish/bug. For the watering can, you must have a perfect town for 15 days straight. For the axe, you must buy 50 saplings from Leif. For the slingshot, you must shoot down the gold toolbox. For the shovel, you must buy 50 bags of fertilizer once you have the emporium.

Golden watering can: Maintain a perfect town for 15 days then speak to Isabelle
(Use this to water more flowers at once and also water wilted black roses to turn them into golden roses)

Golden Shovel: Purchase at least 50 fertilizers at the gardening store found in T&T Emporium
(Use this to plant money trees and increase the effects of fertilizer)

Golden Axe: Purchase at least 50 tree saplings from the gardening store then speak to Leif afterwards
(This axe is indestructible and will occasionally produce unique tree stumps)

Golden Rod: Finish your fish encyclopaedia (72) Then speak to Chip at the fishing tourney
(Use this to increase the throwing radius of your rod - Also increases fish response time)

Golden Net: Finish your bug encyclopaedia (72) Then speak to Nat at the bug off
(Use this net for a wider radius than the normal net)

Golden Slingshot: Shoot down 15 presents in the sky.. the 16th will be a golden slingshot.
(This slingshot fires 3 pellets at a time as opposed to one (normal) or two (silver)

So this triggers the silver one, not the golden one. The golden one shows up after you shoot down at least 25 presents, and then it's very random.

i think that once you unlock the golden slingshot (shooting around 25 presents) it might be a couple of days before it actually shows up because it is random.
