Buying Gold Bottle cap Sun/Moon

Looking for a gold bottle cap for my first ever shiny catch in Moon (the almighty pelipper!) hoping to get it for whatever tbt i have but can negotiate with battle items, 6iv pokes (i also have 1 6iv ditto) and mega stones

I got one in a lottery from festival plaza, but I wasn't sure what you do with them. Is it something with IVs? I would probably trade it for a Sandygast egg. I want a sand castle Pokemon. lol

Gold bottle caps raise all IVs to 31 so they are very valuable. I think lottery is the only way to obtain them at this time and the odds are not great.
