Glitch?

So a few days ago I saw this really weird (glitched?) tree in my town. Instead of there being three apples on the tree, there was only one.



Later, when I walked past the same tree, all three apples had returned.
Has anyone had this happen to them before? Is it just a glitch, or something else?

Yes, it has happened to me too. It's really odd but nothing to worry about just a minor visual glitch.

Okay good ^u^ I thought it was really strange. I've heard of lots of glitches in-game, and not just Animal Crossing, but I surprisingly haven't experienced any.

I've seen this happen as well. It's just a slight rendering error that happens for a reason I can't really think of. From what I remember, saving and quitting fixed it.
