Glitch: Sometimes I can't enter villagers' homes

I first discovered this glitch on Bunny Day, when Sherb was stuck with his face in his door and I couldn't enter some villagers' homes. Today, even though nothing special is going on, I find I can not enter a couple of villagers' homes. I stand in front of the door, press A, and nothing happens. Has anyone else experienced this glitch?

almost had a heart attack when i could enter raymond’s house but it was fixed by the next day ;;

Yes I get it quite often. The only way to fix it is to system restart my nintendo switch.

I've encountered this several times. I just save/quit, close the game, and open it again, and then I can go into their houses like normal.
