Glasses

How do you guys feel about glasses? Do you feel like you need them? Do you wear them for stylish purposes, or do you need them to actually read this? Tell me how you feel about them.

I have perscription glasses but personally don't wear them unless I'm trying to read something far away, like the board to take notes in class. I generally don't wear them outside of school as an accessory even though I'd probably be able to actually see where I was going lol.

I only wear them during school but never outside. I hate the ones I have since they're the thin ones with those things on them that help stay on your nose. I like the thick ones

Ughh, I know what you're talking about, I had those too in 7th grade. They were so ugly and I couldn't pick them out for myself >:<
My new ones are red and thick framed without the nose piece, so they look MUCH better

I wear glasses when I'm way too lazy to put in my contacts. But I'm extremely blind without glasses or contacts, so if I don't have one on I need the other.

I'm wearing my glasses right now actually.

I absolutely need my glasses. I thought I was too cool for them when I was in high school but I also wasn't able to see anything. :/

I wear glasses when I go out as I'm near sighted. Glasses are pretty normal for me. I don't want to transition over to contacts as I have a fear of putting crap in my eyes.

i dont need glasses at all but i have really cute non-prescription vintage glasses i wear for fashion purposes ;p

I basically get a free pair every year even if I don't want/need them, it's great. XD I have a completely clear white frame and a solid blue frame now, with a clear blue frame coming soon. The clear white frames are just normal glasses for seeing far away, but the other 2 have added stuff with them like polarizing lenses, anti-glare, etc.

I saw some completely clear frames in store that looked pretty cool. I also got some pilot shades with polarized lenses when there was a sale, now they're like my basic sunglasses

I need glasses to look at things that are far away, though I tend to just wear them all of the time because it's easier than taking them off and putting them back on all of the time. My new ones should arrive in about a week, actually, I'll post a pic of them if this thread is still going by then.

Yeah I got them because I didn't want to look like I was wearing glasses, but also didn't want contacts. But I like colorful blue and green frames now, those clear ones were from beginning high school so of course I was nervous going to a new school. Now I'm used to it and everyone is nice, so I just wear whatever frame I feel like.

I look great in glasses but haven't needed them until recently, I have a pair of fake ones I wear occasionally, but I still need to go get some prescription ones because my eyes have gotten bad recently. And it sucks when I have a job where I sit in front of a computer, it is not a good thing at all.

I don't wear glasses myself, and I understand that they might be slightly inconvenient at times, but I kind of like them, seeing as they can help someone to express their character.

I need to wear glasses or else I'm useless and can't do anything, my eyesight is so bad without them. Although, I hate going to the opticians to get a new prescription and pick new glasses, I can't even see what I look like when I'm trying them on. And when I go to pick up the new glasses when they're ready, it takes so long for them to change the shape of the glasses so that they can fit my head and not fall off (I've got a little head lmao), just the whole procedure is annoying so I put off going for as long as possible (until I'm struggling to see again with glasses on)

I don't have glasses but if my sight would get really bad all the sudden I would choose for contact lenses. Some people look really good with glasses but I don't so neither will I wear them for any styling purpose.
