Giving Custom Furniture to Villagers!

I have been customizing furniture to experiment. Erik (Moose) asked me to recommend some furniture and I gave him a customized blue table. He gave me the Black Katana.

I gave a customized minimalist table to Rory (Lion) and he gave me the fireplace . . . which I'd tried to get him to sell me from his house numerous time when he'd told me to look around.
