Given villagers will no longer move on paths, will they still move on top of hybrids?

^title! i have a friend who told me that villagers will not move on top of hybrids in addition to no longer moving onto paths, and i want to confirm if this is true while i'm trying to pick a spot for poppy to move onto! :)

Assuming my memory is serving me right, I believe a villager moved onto some hybrids of mine last week :)

Yes, villagers will still move on top of hybrids, but you can protect your hybrids by placing patterns down among them. You just have to make sure they have somewhere else to plot and that you don't leave any 3 x 3 spot open in your hybrid garden.

^^ yeah! They will move on top of them, so use pattern blocks, or if you know someone is going to move in I usually move my hybrids onto a space spot (like by the edge of town or by a building or PWP) until they?ve moved in! I lost my orange roses by not being careful enough :(

You can just put something like, a single pattern on every 3x3 spot in your garden (or the area where you put the hybrids). This is much more convenient to do if your town is already developed. Just make sure not to miss a single 3x3 spot before moving in someone.

They absolutely will, with NO thought of how long or hard you worked to spell M I S F I T all in starts. Needless to say, after I moved them out and fixed the name, I tiled all around it so no one else could destroy my art, lol.
