sen?tence
/ˈsen(t)əns/
Learn to pronounce
noun
1.
a set of words that is complete in itself, typically containing a subject and predicate, conveying a statement, question, exclamation, or command, and consisting of a main clause and sometimes one or more subordinate clauses.

Uh...I don't even understand half of these words. Help. ;[

Now that I think about it we'll probably have to wait for Dawnpiplup to post number 362 since everyone will keep on refreshing until someone else posts number 362

It's not a question of if you should post a full sentence but why. Studies show that people who post longer posts are less likely to post. While others who often write smaller posts find it easier to post a said message. The differences between the two are easy to spot if you look hard enough. The people who make longer posts often believe their posts need to make perfect sense before posting. There are lots of examples of the times during the posting process longer posters decide that the work isn't worth doing. The time that it takes to make a longer post also gives people more time to decide if they should post or not. These kinds of posters pride themselves in being able to articulate their thoughts into huge posts so it makes sense they'd only post when it's perfect. The other type of posters is contempt in their small post because they believe writing a full sentence isn't worth the work. They spend a lot less time with their post so they never really have those thoughts on whether it makes sense to post it. These kinds of posters more often than not find one-liner jokes to be the bee's knees when it comes to comedy. It's completely ok to make a fool of themselves in order to get that quick laugh. Neither poster is better than the other but there does seem to be a divide. A clear superiority complex is made by the longer posters because they believe themselves to be smarter. This can sometimes alienate the smaller posters into feeling inferior. While being able to fully explain your thoughts can be a sign of intelligence, it doesn't exactly make someone smart. For example, in a thread that's purpose is to get to a certain number of posts, a smaller post is the smarter choice. So theirs definitely a reason for both types of post but it takes real intelligence to know what type to post and when.

Tldr long posts are dumb :p
