I think it is a solid start for sure! I think some extra shading and softening the Scorpion sprite would help a bit. Did you make the sprite yourself or is it from AC? Either way, it is a great start!

Yes, I kinda rushed the shading so it may look a bit bad. Maybe some closer colors.

Not sure how it counts, I just took the candy background and used the Animal Crossing scorpion picture as reference.
