Oh ok! I will take a look at it. I am still fairly new, I didn't know each villager had their own preferences.
Yep, they all have things they like and dislike! That being said, some gifts are universally liked- exotic fruit is a good way to build friendship, for instance (and coconuts count). A lot of people go the fruit route because they prefer not to give their villagers furniture because they like their homes as is. Fruit is a great gift because it will NEVER mess up their house to get it, while if you give them enough clothes, they may start displaying it.
But, if you don't mind their houses looking different, give whatever you like
