Gifted villagers - where be my stuff at?

So im reorganising my map, and as such Tybalt had to move off my island to my second switch, where I intended to bring him back once I was ready to.

So he's on my second island and his house is normal. None of the gifted items are there. His outfit? Normal.

Where is all his stuff?

Did he have one of the starter homes? Cause it will reset to their real home when they move to another island

No his house was his normal one.
Its rather disappointing
