Ghost or Genie?

So, i was playing Animal Crossing and by the shore i found like a lamp. Like the one u see in Aladin and later on the day i was walking along this other part of my city's shore and this ghost thing started asking me if i could find his lamp and if i did he would give me a wish :gyroidsideways: i was happy. so i said i found it then he said "lets go to the attic" and im like "o.k." and when we i gave it to him i did the most stuipedest thing. i told him i wished for him to weed. >_< and now i sad. so i have 2 question about this Ghost/Genie. which one is he and will he every come back?

I think he's a ghost with an affinity for fancy oil lamps. Maybe he has a collection of them? *shrug* Not sure, but he definitely looks like a ghost.

No, you're not lucky to have found Wisp on the first day you found the lamp. He is always in town the same night as the day you have a lamp in your town. You just have to play in the evening/night and walk along the beach to find him.

No, you're not lucky to have found Wisp on the first day you found the lamp. He is always in town the same night as the day you have a lamp in your town. You just have to play in the evening/night and walk along the beach to find him.

LOL... yeah I started to write this same comment then I kinda read between the lines. I think what xYoh was saying was that they were lucky to see Wisp the very first time they encountered the lamp, instead of putting it in their house and not looking for Wisp later. While it's true that Wisp only appears on the same day his lamp is in town, you might not know what the lamp is for the first time you encounter it.
