Does anyone have this game? It looks interesting to me, but I am not a fan of blood in games. In the newer Assassin's Creed games there is an option to turn the blood animations off and I am a fan of this option. Is there a similar setting in Ghost of Tsushima? I don't want to buy the game if this isn't an option.

I'll check the next time I play. What I can tell you off the top of my head, is that the blood is very dark in this game. It isn't bright red, or really blatant. It's pretty subtle and subdued. There is also an entire game mode where you can play with a black and white film effect to replicate the old Kurosawa movies.

Will definitely let you know about turning off blood entirely the next time I play. But that probably won't be until tomorrow.

Ooh, thanks. This game looks cool and I have wanted to play a game about a samurai.

Happy to assist.

I will say...this game filled the gap that I wanted Sekiro to fill. I wanted to like Sekiro so much...and I still feel guilty for abandoning it. But, I just couldn't get into that style of gameplay. Ghost of Tsushima is the complete opposite of that. It's the kind of game that never feels like a burden to play. You can do as much or as little as you want at any given time. There have been entire play sessions where I just wanted to battle...so I went around finding enemy camps and doing the main story missions, and dueling anyone I could find. There have also been entire play sessions where I felt like doing nothing but exploring...looking for hot springs, fox dens, places to recite haikus...or using the in-game photo mode (which is probably the best one I've ever seen)...

this just totally convinced me to buy it,, i was on the fence about getting ghost of tsushima mainly because i feel the same way about sekiro as you did and i didn’t want to abandon another game
😔

Oh I am a fan of the random wandering around and exploring stuff. I tend to not beat many games because it is more fun to play in the world.
