Ghost in Main Street

Hi, I'm MayorSean, And I've got something I need answers to.
I'm not sure if this is a bug or whatever, but i'll just explain what happened:

When I first got Animal Crossing: New Leaf, (13th of June, Gamestop got a shipment from the USA, so I got it the day before the release of it in the EU.)

Anyways, when I first got it, I had a villager called Naomi, ( A blue cow ).
For my own reasons, I disliked her.. ALOT. So I decided to complain about her to Isabelle.
About 3 days after I complained, She moved out, So I had a mini party at some random villagers house .
Her house is gone, and nobody in my town talks about her, but almost everyday as I go to main-street to have a look in all the stores... She's there. She just walks around, and sometimes goes into The Able Sisters.
I'm annoyed about it, but not sure if it's a glitch. If anyone knows of anything like this, please tell me.
I need answers, so I can try and get rid of the 'ghost'

This is not a glitch. When villagers move out, they sometimes come back to Main Street. I had it happen in my town before I restarted.

It's not a glitch. It's actually a feature. Animals who move out will occasional come visit you on Main Street.
Velma even said to me that she'll come visit me one day, "maybe on Main Street".

Yup, it happens! I have Hamphrey stopping by Main Street every once in a while, and he moved out a month ago xD

Is there any way I can get her to stop coming? I mean, I really don't like her.. =/

The only way I can think of would be restarting the game, but that is rather drastic.

I've only had one villager move so far, i'd like to see him back on main street, would be interesting

I've only had one villager move out of my town so far, and that was Elmer. Wonder if he'll come visit?

Whoa, I had no idea that this was a feature. Then again, I also haven't had anyone move out of my town (yet). That's pretty neat! Though I guess that means I'll have to deal with Hazel's ugly mug after I eventually make her leave, ugh.

Yes, it's a feature! After villagers move out, sometimes they will still walk around Main Street just to visit. It's not her ghost; she probably just wanted to check up on how your town was doing.
