Geyser: to build or not to build?

I only have one space left for a public works project and I'm wondering if I should "spring for" the geyser (pardon the pun). Seems like it would be cool to see it erupt, but I'm wondering if it's kind of an eyesore when it's inactive. Maybe I should hold off for one of the topiaries that will become available in about a week and a half? I'd like to hear your opinions!

The topiaries do look pretty spectacular... arrg, curse this 30-PWP-max limitation!

Def the topiaries. I've had a geyser and it's cool, but i think the topiary is more pleasant to look at.

I'd go for topiary! But I really really love topiaries and have about 6+ in my town like a crazy person.
