Getting Villagers True Default Houses

So I have two villagers that I permanently want to keep (Audie and Derwin), but they both have the starting peppy and lazy houses and I’d rather have their true default house interiors.

I know that the 16 villager cycle is no longer a thing in NH and that I can re-invite whoever moves out without having to cycle at all.

What I’m wondering is can anyone confirm on the day after they move out (when their plot is empty) I can invite them back again right away? Or do I need to wait a few days? I’m willing to keep my game on the same day after my villager moves so the other person can cycle them out without someone new taking the old plot on my island.

You can adopt the same one after they move out and they will have their normal homes when they return
