Getting villagers to ping you

Does anyone know a faster way, i have Lucky and I'm trying to get him to ping me so i an continue my trade with someone, but its been 7 months (time traveling),and he has not pinged at all its kinda frustrating cause i don't want to keep the trader waiting so long. Does anyone know any tricks to getting a villager to move? please help thanks!

empty your pockets, have 0 bells, tt 2 days forward and 2 days back. most of the times, villagers I don't like ping me

A lot of people try the ignoring method to getting villagers to move, but I find it doesn't work for me. The higher up on the friendship totem a villager is, the more likely they want to move out, as the entire point of befriending neighbors is getting their picture, and the game tries to make this difficult for you by having them ask to move out occasionally. If you talk to Lucky more often instead of TTing, he'll probably ping faster. That's just my experience though.

Try either befriending them or ignoring them ~ either seems to work but I think the befriending method seems to work a lot better for some reason.

Having visitors over talking to your villagers, would that also help them want to move, explore other towns?
