Okay, Goose has his house in the worst place possible (directly in the middle of my path, two spaces in front of a bridge :/) and I'd like to know what the best way is to get villagers to move out.

I've heard of ignoring them so they move out, or repeatedly talking to them daily to befriend them so they will ping you to move.

I don't TT, so what's the easiest and quickest way to get a villager to move out? Thank you ❤

EDIT: Can two villagers be scheduled to move out at the same time? Currently Alice is due to move on February 10th, so can another villager still ping me to move or do I have to wait until Alice is gone?

I personally use the "talk to once then never talk to again method" but if I'm correct, befriending them so they'll ping probably works fastest. My best friends in my first town CONSTANTLY pinged to move out (yes, I'm talking to you Rolf and Francine) like every day or every other day. So I'd go with that.

aha, thank you! I guess I’ll try talking to him lots then, wow I can’t wait for him to move out xD

you need to get their social value to either the max or minimum, so that they have no further use in the town and want to move, done by (as said already)-

a) talking to them once to introduce yourself, then ignoring them forevermore
b) making them your best friend (max friendship usually takes longer than the ignoring method, unless you play all day, everyday)

ah, thank you! I restarted my town a couple of weeks ago and Goose was one of my starting villagers, and I’ve tried to talk to all of my villagers everyday, so it might be easier to try and get to max friendship? Alice was one of my starting villagers also and she recently pinged me to move (she has unfortunate placement also) so hopefully Goose will follow suit xD

It's all random.
Ignore them, tall to them, the outcome is the same.

Only one can be packed to move at a time.
