Getting trapped

So yesterday I had a silly idea, I've known you could make small enclosures with bushes for a while and had a large empty bit of land in my town I wanted to make a feature for. While laying out patterns and stuff to see what I could do I realised you could make a large diamond of 12 bushes and there was enough space inside for a PWP to fit inside. When I started planting bushes I realised a side-effect of this succeeding...
*excuse the mismatch of flowers around, town is a WIP*





The PWP celebration sticks you inside the loop of bushes and then Isabelle abandons you to the elements. xP
I managed to play for about 20 minutes trapped there, screaming at Erik for help and throwing beans at him. xD ~ too easily amused.


This also reminded me of a time about a month ago I was forced to save and quit while playing after trapping myself. I found Beau asleep and tried to push him next to his bed for a pic and instead ended up trapped between him and the wall on the bed unable to get up. =.=;



So anyone else found themselves suddenly stuck while playing and had to save and quit or reset to get out of it?

This has never happened to me before, though, but I can see how easily it might be able to happen.

The only time I've been "trapped" was when I was in Re-Tail and running around waiting for a villager to ping to wanna buy an item, and at the same time playing catch-up with Reese :B

I accidentally sat on that little pink(blue?) stool in the back JUST AS a shopping villager pinged and ran to the item that was directly to the left of the stool. And of course, Reese was running up to me, forever standing in front of the stool... -.-;;
So I was stuck there for about 5-10mins just making the \D:/ emote when you're trying to move but someone's in your way.

I hadn't considered that could happen. o: Though I did think it dumb before that you have to get off the stool sideways when Reese chases you to it. :s
Did you have to Save and quit to get out of that too or did the villager eventually wander off?

It was weirdly more fun restricted in those 12 spaces than I'd had all day in my whole town. I just wish a villager or 2 got trapped with me. Erik never came close enough to talk to and no one returned. 3: Clearly this goes to show who my real friends are.

Good to know that waiting frees you, in case it ever happens. :]
I'm surprised I haven't had it happen considering whenever I want to sell and re-tail has no villager iin, I sit on that chair and do something else while I wait..

You can thank Roselia for the inspiration. She has a little heart in bushes in her town, most inspiring thing I've seen in my travels.
