Getting too attached to villagers

I don't care much about my original villagers . I've grown really attached to Bianca and Tucker. They're both newer villagers but they mean so much to me. I love their personalities

Ribbot is the only one I have gotten attached too and lost in him a stupid TT thing. I built a pwp where his house was so no one could move there.

Yes! I totally know what you mean. I've had beardo since june 15th when i first got the game. He grew to be one of my favorite villagers & i love him a lot, but i've been moving in a lot of dreamies lately, and apple put her house right next to beardo's. It was a terrible spot. it gets in the way of navigation, and to make navigation better, i'm gonna have to let beardo go. He told me today that he's moving on the 24th i'm really gonna miss him. But i also want some change and to experience new villagers. though, i know he'll send me his picture and i'll have something to remember him by. he's a tier 5 villager and i dont know if anybody has him as their dreamy, but i'm gonna make a thread soon and hopefully someone will want him & give him a good home!

I could take him for you! But if anyone has him as his dreamy that's even better!

Yes yes yes!!! This is exactly what I mean. It's almost like you see them as real people but I know you want Eugene but you also feel bad for letting the others go lol

Exactly! Haha, and he finally showed up on my main street so it sucks having him there but not being able to have the cute/funny conversations. I catch myself talking to him quite often even though he repeats the same things QQ
Maybe someday I'll get him back

Man going through 16 villagers it's a drag. But yes maybe I wish they said different things on Main Street like at least talk about their new town or s/t right?

Also to answer your OP then yes my dreamies to me I have an emotional attachment too, they aren't just pixels on a screen to me that I don't care about at all.

I've had Drago since the first day I became mayor... He was the first villager I met and also the first one to give me his picture. I know one day I'll have to have him move away to make room for my dreamies, but... I'll miss him. He's been with me through my entire AC journey so far since the game came out. Luckily I'll be giving him to my friend so I can still visit him if I want to. :3

There are some villagers I definitely will never let go, like Dizzy and Maple. I love all my villagers and I'm content with all of them for now... but I think I'm more attached to their house location really. It took me a while to map out my town the way it is and I would be devastated if another villager came in and ruined it.

Rocco is moving out and I realized how cute he is and how his green fits with the grass and I wish none of my villagers had to move. Hans moved out a while ago but when someone mentions him on a thread I miss him too. I lost Olivia and I still write about her on letters and bulletin boards.

Or when you go around a spot in your town and you go "oh this is where __ used to live" does any else feel this way or am i taking this game too seriously lol

I know some people who take it to the extreme by calling Marshal their "boyfriends". Yes I feel you ;-; I will never let Fang go..

I know exactly what you mean. I know where everyone in my town used to live. The one who upsets me the most is Drago. I had to let him go to get room for Rosie. I got him to move to my little brother's town.
