Getting rid of the 10th villager?

I keep hearing over and over that the 10th villager that you get from the campsite I really hard to get rid of.
I've been resetting for a long times every day so I can get a dreamie and I haven't gotten any.
But I just got cookie and she's sooooo cute! I want her. But I only want her for a while and then I want to let her leave so I can get a dreamie. But I don't want to take her if its gonna take months for her to leave.
Is it really true that it takes longer to get rid of them or is it the same as all the other villager?

I wan to know now before I ask her to stay. Thanks.

I got my 10th villager from streetpassing someone and was able to get her out using this method. 10 ingame days and she was gone.

I don't think the tenth villager is particularly hard to get out. I've easily been able to slide them out whenever I wanted to and put my mind to it, within a few days in the game. Cookie's a cutie, go ahead and get her if you want, and when you're done it (from my experiences) won't take months to get rid of her .

Cookie <3, and no, it doesn't take ages. I once got a villager out (Big top) in 10 days
