Probably most of you have the goal to get all your favorites villagers (dreamies) in your town
and keep them as long as possible. However, seeing the same villagers every single day might
get boring after a while, especially since there are so many other villagers out there. So, did
you ever get bored from your dreamies?
Definitely. I got bored after a while of all of mine.. hearing the same dialogue, looking at the same houses, no longer hitting someone with a net to make them leave haha. Luckily I have their cards so I have replaced most of them for now and will just bring them back when I want to again!
i definitely would if i had a set list of dreamies- i know there are 2-4 villagers i won't ever let leave town bc i love them too much, but for the most part, my villager list is very flexible it's good because then i stop obsessing over if they fill their houses with bugs and fish or not and i chill out more with their catchphrases. it makes the game a lot more enjoyable bc i'm not too busy being all cleanup crew on my villagers.
i recommend maybe only having up to 8 dreamies and letting the remaining slots be taken by whoever strikes your fancy at the moment. that way, you do still have dreamies who stay in your town forever, but also you get new villagers pretty often that make town life stay exciting!
I would if I only had one town. Haha. But I really enjoy the planning and decorating stages of town life, so by the time I feel like my villagers are getting a little stale, I've usually finished the town. But if I do get bored of a villager before that, I just let them move out and invite somebody else in.
Like someone mentioned earlier, i want to get the amiibo cards of my dreamies so i can still experiment and check out different villagers and keep it fresh and yet not have to worry about trying to get them asap or getting bored of them but not wanting to lose them, etc. Maybe even finding new dreamies in the process. I've just added Ruby to my dreamies list since she was one of the first villagers i got after making my new town and I find her super interesting!! I hope I don't get bored of her ;o;
it's also harder since ive only got one game cartridge as well.
I have a couple of slots in my town for amiibo card rotation, so that way I can always have a new, fresh face in town if I am not feeling my current villager roster. There's a few villagers I absolutely will never let leave, but with the cards, I can bring in whoever I want and enjoy them for a couple months to spice things up, while still keeping my dreamies!
In my main town, no. My dreamies are loved lol. In my second town, I'm always trying to figure out, who I'd actually want as a dreamie. So it's just random ^^"
Cause then you get attached to them and don't want them to ever leave!
