getting back moved out villager-- do you always have to cycle through 16 villagers?

if your villager moves out, but somebody else has that same villager in boxes, can you have them move into your town right away?

or will the game still make you cycle through 16 more move-outs first??

Yeah, you still have to cycle through 16 villagers or the villager from another town won't come with you.

thanks for that info. so how does the game handle it-- when you're in the other town, they just won't agree to move to your town, is that what happens? or would they agree to move, but then just never show up??

They'll just say that they don't want to move to your town, I think...I've never experienced this myself, but I've heard this from some people.

if you haven't done the 16 villager cycle & talk to them while they're in boxes, they won't mention moving - they just make small talk with you

I really hate the 16 villager cycle thing but yeah as the user above said, they just don't mention moving. I tried it recently with Zell to check if he's still in my void and of course he is
