Getting 3 star rating/unlocking terraforming

Hi all! Does my furniture placed on the island need to be exclusively crafted, or can I have some furniture out that I bought from nooklings? Thanks in advance!

You can use anything you want as long as it isn't trash. ❤

It can be anything that can be "placed"! "Dropped" items don't count (they actually count as trash/litter so try to pick everything up if you have stuff laying around!)

I'm just going to add that I was able to get terraforming just by placing fences and completely random items around the island and had no bridges or inclines, so if you are not ready to place a bridge / incline since you think you will just move it later, you don't have to!
