Generic Kapp'n Islands gone?

Noticed ever since the 2.0.1 patch that I haven't gotten a single "dud" island on my trips with Kapp'n. Infact, with how often he's taken me to Vine/moss islands since said update, I suspect that THOSE islands are now the most common roll!

If that's the case, this is a VERY welcome change as I LOVE the vine and moss DIYs. Has my suspicion been officially confirmed by any sources?

Yeah, if you get good luck after an update it can be easy to get your hopes up. Back in January I got three straight weeks with Redd visiting and was hoping maybe he’d been added to the weekly rotation with Gulliver/arr. Obviously not the case, alas. But such is life with Animal Crossing.

I have been getting generic islands every since the update but I finally got an island with some vegetables that I do not have yet so I am hoping to get some vines and moss soon.

Hehe.. its luck i think and as usual mine ain't great. I've visited every day so far and only had one moss/vine island so far. I did get two veg islands, a summer island and an island with an extra fully formed gyroid on it though!
