Yikes! $6 Dollars! Well, that's what Katrina did. I'm sorry to hear about this. It makes me wonder; when I can drive, will I be able to afford gas?

Sorry to hear that BAm. the prices are really outragious, and have no look at going down.

Finally. Really, people need to think about conserving gas....
That's true. Fossil fuels won't be around forever. Someday, there will be none left.
well they are actualy recycled through bones.
I thought they came from fossilized plants that had converted into Oil. Anyways, they are still limited.

fossil fuels come from dead organic matter and I think that other sorces of fuel will be found before we run out, they can make a fuel out of soy beans and corn or something like that but it needs a different engine or something.

Yeah, they call it "Biodiesel". Actually, I think it would be a good idea to use it in cars in place of oil and would save the nation millions of dollars. This could also help out our kind of collapsing economy as well. Likely, around 2015, some kind of alternate fuel will have caught on, and problem solved.

You know, It's amazing to see something like this in your lifetime. A giant techological breakthrough. I wonder what's next?

it is not that we are using it all up, we are just using it too fast.

Guys I really think we are seeing the Decline of the US

Back to australia!

The most poeple died in a war is 5. Excluding World War II which doesn't count.

Just 5? Amazing.

Oh, this is probably just a rough spot in America's history. Remember the Depression? Well, I don't expect any of you to, you weren't around then. Anyways, we got through that, and we will get through this. The U.S. isn't a contry that will just call it quits. They will fight to the last man, if you know what I mean.

Plus, I'd want to go to Japan. Video games will come out sooner! So, if the U.S. falls,

Across the Pacific to the land of the rising sun!

I'll even learn Japanese just in case.

;) But, I really do think the U.S. is just going through a "Rough patch" in History.

Yeah, and the increasing crime rate doesn't help, either.

WWII doesn't count?! That's outrageous!

Oh, manure can be used to make ethanol, then mixed with regular gasoline to provide more with less. The government always takes forever to do stuff, though.

*moves to somewhere in the European Union*

Uhh, I'll admit that there is a porn problem all over the world (heck, go to Times Square), but it's not exactly going to bring down entire economies, just turn them in to a bunch of, uh, immoral people. >__>

What increasing crime rate?
