My two happy places when it comes to games are The World Ends With You and Yoshi's Island. I have the 3DS version of Yoshi's Woolly World pre-ordered, so that game may well join the previous two. But TWEWY's characters and overall message are good for getting my heart and head back where they need to be, at least for awhile.
God, Animal Crossing is definitely that. I've tried to get back in recently, but I don't wanna get sucked back in due to all the real world things I need to do lol
Minecraft is a peaceful one, that I can spend hours losing myself in....
Whenever I get stressed and want a game break, I find myself wanting older games too, Roller coaster tycoon, paper mario, ones from the N64 era that to me reminds me of a time much simpler
Splatoon, Bayonetta (WEIRDLY ENOUGH bayonetta is not at all stressful to me), ACNL of course. I also love to play Sims games and fighting games like Skullgirls when I'm angery or need to chill :3
i play pokemon when im stressed, infact im replaying pokemon black rn, i was never into pokemon growing up and pokemon black was my first pokemon game that i played, remembering my first time playing it and not being used to type effectiveness makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
