That news was around a week ago and Adult newscaster pinoy (if I recall his name is "Falcon) said that games are bad for blah blah, addicting blah blah and bad for kids that is the reason why they are violent.
While I think gaming is cool, I don't think that it's a sport. I couldn't imagine getting a scholarship for playing Animal Crossing well.
Yeah, video games do promote/glorify violence, especially to the young kids/teens that are playing it. That's pretty concerning to me, although it's really up to the parents.
