GBA games on 3DS are only limited to 3DS Ambassadors (People who bought the original 3DS before the price was dropped from $249.99 to $169.99.) at this time. It could possibly change, but for now, just either try to buy used GBA games at used game stores or buy a Wii U and buy from the Wii U eShop.

Have a blast with collecting GBA games. If Ninty won't put them on the 3DS, then hunt through the local pawn shops and find some. It's really quite fun.
They probably won't ever put them on 3DS, same with SNES. I'm sure they'll keep it separate or they'll give people no reason to get one or the other. I think they don't want to have both the 3DS & WiiU with the same identical VC library, that would be boring wouldn't it? NES is exempt, apparently cause WiiU gets the originals and the 3DS gets remakes and the most popular ones. If they ever give both systems the full VC list, I bet it'll be ages from now. Not to mention (although it shouldn't be hard, but is nevertheless an extra step) that they have to port the games to 2 systems instead of just 1.

no its not. youre just mad you missed on it cause you were probably waiting for a 3ds price drop so they rewarded the real fans with free games who paid the real price not some cheap im poor and cant afford anything price

Nah I'm not mad. I got the "poptart" Animal Crossing New Leaf 3DS bundle when it came out (are you going to say I'm not a real fan now?), and I have Wario Land 4 (the only GBA game I really care about) on my Wii U virtual console so it's ok. I'm just saying the whole situation is kinda silly

yeah its silly that anyone fights over it. in the other virtual console thread someone is saying the 3ds should get it all and the wiiu shouldnt get any and that doesnt make sense. theres ones you can get on both too they say

I imagine each time they release an ambassador game the OG 3DS crowd lets out a huge bored sounding sigh. I want all the games so I'm excited for when they'll come to WiiU but if I already had them I'd def be bummed, especially cause of the slow WiiU VC

something else to consider as well many people ie people 8-12 may have never played any GBA games or vary few and would be a huge new market for them many of the GBA games go for a lot at this point as they are quite rare to find and collect.
I would hate a whole new GEN of people to grow up never have getting to play all the great games that are on the GBA.
Plus it would show what games people after all these years still wanna see a new part to.
Many people had never played Super Mario World until it came to the GBA (lol youngsters) dont you miss that magic good thing i still have my GBA games but they are getting old

I wish they would offer more GBA games for sale, but I'm pretty happy with the ones we ambassadors get.

I wasn't an ambassador, but I don't want them on 3DS. I like the feeling of playing the game on the console it was made for. GBA on Wii U seems to be getting positive feedback so it should stay there if anything.
i dont doubt that 1 bit. But heres the RUB (lol old school saying) I would think this would be a Good thing i know that GBA games on 3DS are by far (and i mean by far) the most requested thing people ask for, so it is not like they can say there is no market for it.
So Begs the question: Why is a Billion dollar Company Sitting on a Billion dollar idea that reported a lose in earning for last 2 quatars.
