I’m on June 2nd (Playing catch up) and I got no call from Harvey (or Isabelle even mentioning wedding season) so far...

I’m on the latest software (to add on, Isabelle is keeping eveyones summer recipes hostage, which isn’t too bad as I can find them from a balloon....still annoying

basically, it won’t trigger and I don’t know why.

I didn't get a call or message either. Just go to Harv's Island and Cyrus and Reese will be there.

Do you have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription (not sure if this is required, but asking anyways) and an active internet connection when starting the game?

I went there, and they were no where to be found, but Wilbur mentioned the service for sending things home/selling to nooks

I do have a subscription and I did try to log in while connected to the net on the first day and nothing

I don't know then. You might have to contact Nintendo about it. But by random chance, do you time travel? The only thing I can think of at this point.

If you're on the latest software version, it should say 1.2.1c.

yes, he mentions nothing, just that his home is open for photo shoots

i only have tt’d recently just to catch up...but nothing too major...I don’t think that would cause it to bug out...

it says it’s on version 1.2.1 b...I did delay an update, but I updated It once I got connected (My internet was a bit buggy for the last few days)

Yeah, the game hasn't checked and updated to you to the most recent 'version', try checking for an update via software options on the HOME screen to see if it does anything.

Okay, so apparently, my switch had an update for the console, and once I updated, the game updated as well to the proper version (being 1.2.1 c, even though I checked via the software update) but nothing changed? I guess once I get to tomorrow (june 3rd) I’ll be able to check...because loading back on the same day merits nothing... I’ll post an update in the aftReno if it works...In theory it should...

Close your Switch down all the way. Open your eShop. Get out of that and start AC. Advice from someone that worked for someone yesterday. Main thing seems to be starting eShop.

Do you by chance use sleep mode instead of fully powering down your console? I've seen issues with the frequent use sleep mode causing Wi-Fi to act pretty wonky.

tried that, nothing, i already signed in for June 2nd so it would have to be on a new day

Yes, I do use the sleep mode, but only once a day when I’m finished, so it can charge...but I’m thinking I don’t have to do that (and my WiFi acting up is actually on my actual routers end where it wasn’t connecting to any devices at all)

So, I’ll give an update on this in the Afternoon, fingers crossed !

Okay, it works, I have no idea what happened, but its possible that the console firmware being out of date wasn’t allowing for a proper update for NH (Kinda makes no sense, really) but what do I know?
