Future buildings and island design

If Nintendo were to include more standalone buildings in future updates, be it Brewster’s cafe, another NPC’s shop, or even more villager houses, would you be fine adding them to your island, or are you so set with your island’s design that it would be cumbersome to add?

i’m fine with more stand-alone buildings because i recently restarted and there’s basically nothing on my island, but space for more buildings might be a problem for people who have kept the same island since release date. there’s no buildings except for nook’s cranny and the able sisters, and im actually hoping that nintendo doesn’t just add the cafe to the museum. i’d like to see the roost as an actual stand alone building just like it was in new leaf.

I think I could still fit one or two buildings in my island. I don’t particularly need it, since those areas are decorated. However if space is needed, I’m ok with switching some things around.

I might be slightly annoyed, as I only recently did a massive change which I did under the assumption thag no more actual buildings were coming. But then when it came to it, I'd just grumble and move things around, but ultimately be happy to have the new buildings.

I voted yes. I would probably need to switch things around, but I'd be happy to do it, as redesigning and improving areas is one of the things that has kept me playing.

If we do get new buildings at some point, my prediction would be that they would be part of a different island or somewhere we visit rather than buildings we could add to our island.

If there's new building to come, let it be in a city. Our islands are too small too hold more buildings, and the game has a terrible performance as is. If you want more framerate drops, more buildings will probably do that.

EDIT:

The game allows 8 players to live on the island at once. So even if you yourself have room for buildings, the game needs to potentially have room for more buildings after 7 more players are added to the island. There would really be no room to freely express yourself as everything gets crammed together.

I could afford the space for 1 or 2 more buildings. Anything after that, I'm not sure if I could with my current map.

i think there's definitely room for one more building. i have a pretty heavily decorated island and i still struggle to fill it up without it feeling forced. i also hope they add some type of shop upgrade... or more furniture at the very least.

I would love if new buildings were added, because it would give me an excuse to change up my island. As it stands I don't really have much room for new buildings, but having to make room would renew my interest in the game

I would love more buildings and have room for them. If they do I hope they are optional for those that don’t want them.

I really want Leif to have his own shop. He could sell the missing house plants from NL. For those who don’t want a new building he could be part of Nook’s cranny. If we do get Brewster I would love him to have his own building. With the option of him in the museum for those that don’t want a new building. Kicks could get his own shop or be part of Ables.

I don’t see myself having any more playable characters I have two on each island. It would be nice if we could have more villager houses instead.

Personally, I would love more buildings. I think I’d like the fact if they were optional, just in case someone doesn’t have room on their island. I’d like to add a roost to mine. My shopping district is literally empty with just Nook’s and the Able Sisters.

I am in the middle of redecorating my whole island again and so far I have alot more room for more buildings like a coffee shop or some more shops or a special nookpoints shop.

honestly i wouldnt mind either way. i would be a little annoyed cause most of my islands are fully planned out by now but it would also be a fun challenge to try to include them.
i would prefer it if we could travel to a different island to get to new shops and stuff (kinda like the city in city folk). i think its a missed opportunity that we can only travel to harveys island.

I would absolutely love more buildings. I do have space on my island because I'm not finished decorating yet, but even if my island was 100% full, I would happily make some room to accommodate more buildings and npcs

I'm preparing to overhaul my entire island so I welcome new buildings. It depends on the building though. Brewster's cafe will regardless replace my outdoor café. If Brewster's cafe/Roost becomes part of the museum, then another building would be even more welcome.

Since the start of the game, I have considered the possibility of new buildings. That's why I have so much empty space on the middle of my island. Also, because I would be too lazy to move things around and terraform again that's why I already thought about this ahead of time.

i’d definitely love and am hoping for some more standalone buildings, especially the roost! my island is practically undecorated, and what i do have done likely isn’t going to be permanent, so i have the room for a few more buildings as well!

I hope that if nintendo added more buildings that it would be on another island or town that we travel to, but i definitely would have room to add more buildings if I needed to.
