So there?s this silly thing that kinda bothers me and it?s how the random dialogues I get from my villagers, more often than not are plain lies to my face. I started noticing after creating two secondary characters.

My villagers would sell my Mayor items that my secondary chars had traded with them, saying that they had bought it and repented or that they had bought it for the Mayor because they thought of her when they saw it. Uhm, excuse me! Right now Blaire has sold me her tulips saying that she shouldn?t have bought them but I, I! sent them to her! And just before Pate came around saying that she had this deep and funny conversation with one of my secondaries when I really just logged in, hit the money rock and logged off.

Has anyone else experienced this and if, so do you find it annoying?

This is the precise reason why I don't talk to my villagers with any of my alt characters. I don't want my villagers to talk about them when they could talk to me about more relevant things, lol

Yes! That's happened to me where I gave Antonio something and then in the alternate character he said he bought it on a whim. I was laughing a bit about it, but I wouldn't think too much of it. I've had villagers sell me items that I gave to them a while ago and they'll tell me they bought it themselves.

I haven't played much on my alternate character, but from the little I did talk to my villagers with them it's really interesting to see the difference. Haha they're too afraid to gossip with the mayor!

The same piece of furniture made the rounds with the mayor and 2 side players.
Mayor gave it to a villager and later they tried to get sell it to Christa or Lori. Said they bought it or were short of money.
One of the side players put it up for sale at retail and a villager bought it. The next day the mayor got asked to buy it, put it up for sale and a villager bought it. Side player got asked to buy it again.

The villagers will gossip to the mayor if you play the side players a lot.
