hmm, anyone's been in the situation where they get REALLY attached to a supposedly unwanted villager?
my plan was to to fix my town, get the best tools and complete upgrades..etc BEFORE hunting for my dreamies so I can time travel without feeling guilty and be able to fulfill my dreamies' needs and make them happy...BUT while I'm still in the process of fixing my town I got SO attached to Bruce (a non dreamie) and because of this my plan got kinda messed up 'cause now I feel guilty when I time travel and I keep on spending my bells and perfect fruit on him lol XD

I got attached to a lot of my villagers this way, lol! That's part of the reason I came into New Leaf hunting for Savannah. This happened in a previous version of Animal Crossing when Savannah moved in, but it was much harder to keep your villagers back then so I lost her.... Dreamy is such a relative term:) Good friends are very forgiving when you time travel - after that first awkward conversation.

This has happened to me a lot! Other than two villagers I got from other people, the rest of my villagers were supposed to be only temporary or stay until I got bored. Some of them have become permanent residents. The others are still in my town but I've decided I should just get on with it and move them out, because I have some villagers I got in my first few months of playing and still have. I like them a lot but I also want to meet some new villagers.

I can't think of any specific unwanted villagers that I've gotten attached to, but it definitely has happened to me.

T-Bone and Prince. I was so sad when Prince left my town even tho I wasn't a huge fan at the beginning.
and sometimes the opposite happens and I'm not into the ones I loved at the beginning. like Punchy.
