My sister and one of her previous boyfriends used to play Animal Crossings for Game Cube. They each had separate towns but would frequently visit each other. Eventually they broke up and my sister continued playing. She had to quit because all of her animals kept asking where her ex was and when he was coming to visit.

Back in 2005 I got the game with a friend and ever weekend we visited each others house. Two years ago she died in a car wreck. Now that I'm playing the game again my animals all show me letters she sent to my villagers and they ask when she is coming back. It's pretty intense!
