the catch? Whoever gives me the best idea by the end of the night wins!
My theme is a kingdom/castle and my first room is pantheon posts on each side leading too the back room and there is merlions in between each post and my back room there are plate armors lined up too the two thrones(mine and the queens) which are mannequins my upstairs is the gorgeous set(their room) My basement is a dungeon or a prison my far right room is a console/judges room and my left room is a gold series room which is the one I wanna change! Whoever gives me the best idea for the room where my golden room is wins! Bonus points for adding ideas for my dungeon/prisoner room in my basement!
 
Well... You need a feast fit for a king right? I suggest you put a bunch of fancy looking tables together and a lot of chairs. Princess chairs would look especially nice. Pile food onto the tables - rare dlc food is even better, like turkey feast or veggie basket. Make it a nice dining room that everyone at the banquet will admire. I know the regal tables would look nice for this, but you can use any fancy table.

I have a dungeon in my basement as well! This is what I have in it: I have two creepy stones with gyroids positioned so that it looks like they're zombies popping out of graves. I have a lab chair with an axe on either side. I have three creepy skeletons lying around, a fake statue of Nike the goddess of victory with bat wings. I have a drip pail so it looks like the dungeon roof is crud. I also put masks like the ogre mask on the wall, and the whole room is always kept dark.

Glad I'm not the only one with a dungeon in their basement :3

well right now in the back I have kind of a jail cell type thing. with two skeletons against the wall then three ionian posts next too them and a rope partitian so there is no escape and then two more skeletons in the next cell and so on and so forth. And I have the creepy stones and bat stone in there with the creepy floor and wall.
 
In the left room I would put a tavern - I mean every kingdom needs one right? I would suggest making it have a stone floor, but a nice wall that fits with the rest of the house. The room would have to have a sort of bar, with wooden stools lined up. Behind the bar I would strongly recommend the wooden barrel which you can get from Pascal which looks like a keg. To decorate the rest of the room I would use cabin furniture as seen here: http://animalcrossing.wikia.com/wiki/Cabin_Series

Except I would customize the cabin furniture to make it suit your house more. I would have the big cabin table in the middle of the room as a feature. As for your basement, I think you could use your mannequins that you have in your throne room as prisoners, and dress them in prisoners clothes (black and white stripes, you can design this pattern yourself). So what I would suggest is instead of having the mannequin as the king, why don't you be the king! You could wear the crown and the robes :P

In your basement I would have the cells with the mannequin prisoners in them, and I would use things such as rubbish (boots, cans and rubbish that you can fish from the river) and rotten turnips. These items would help decorate your prison to make it look more filthy and dirty like a prison. Some creepy and spooky furniture might look good here, but make sure its not too crowded.

If you like this idea the most I may be able to help you get some of the furniture required.

Ooh, almost forgot. The basement wall and floor look really good for a dungeon. But they're saharah exusives so they're kind of hard to get.

The rope partition is a good idea; I was always trying to think of a way to create an actual cell. Thanks!
