Fuchsia sent me flowers, and other villager's mail

I already had a number of orange roses but this surprised me.

What rare things did you guys get from your mail?

Oh yah. In my old town, I think someone sent me an orange lily. I was happy.

I forgot, but defiantly not a flower. I'm just making sure I do a lot of things for the neighbors to hopefully get their pictures.

I've only received misc. furniture/clothing items. Nothing out of the ordinary.

I suspect they do register if you haven't written anything. Just write something generic like "how are you?" or whatever, if you don't feel like writing something new every time. Or did you mean empty as in no gift attached? Then yeah, that will have an effect too. It's not certain that they will send you anything, even if you sent them something, either.
