I understand I could sell my items at the flea market at the price of 4 times - 1 of what Reese is paying for.
However, some fruits cannot be done this way?
For example, apples, pears and peaches are 500 bells per piece,
A basket of 9 will be 4500 bells which Reese will buy
to be at the flea market, it should be priced at 17999 (4500 x 4 - 1) . However, I could only go up to 9999 bells otherwise my residents would complain too expensive and won't buy
Is it true for you guys?

My native is cherry, for a basket of 9 I could sell at 3599 bells which is (100 x 9) x4 - 1
Lemons, oranges, lychees, bananas, coconuts are 250 each and can be sold at 8999 bells

Thanks.

I have never been able to sell anything at the Flea Market for over 9,999. I wonder if you put up a basket of 5 non-native-town fruit (500*4*5=10,000) at 9,999, would the villagers buy it. I might give this a try tomorrow, when my trees will have fruit on then again.

Cool, I just want to confirm with you guys.
That means those fruits that sell at 500 bells each has the biggest profit
Also selling the fossils at the flea market would not make a whole lot of profit. :)

You'll still double your money selling many of the fossils, maybe slightly less, but I still think they're worth putting up at re-tail :) Of course depending on what else you've got, but you know.
