Fruit Baskets=Trash?

I had a perfect town until I put a bunch of fruit baskets in front of my TS. Do those count as trash? My rating said that they are complaining about cleanliness, but there is literally nothing on the ground other than those baskets....

I guess I could do that. I literally have no where else to put them lol, my storage is full and I dont wanna put them in my second character. I would have to put them in my house I guess.

Do you have the museum upgrade yet? You can put the fruit in there. Otherwise, why not sell it in Re-Tail? You can always get more fruit later on.

Oh, I didn't think it was trash. I hope it isn't, I was planning to leave some around as decoration. Please post if you figure it out for sure!

I think if you shake a tree and fruit falls onto the ground, it's okay. Regular or Perfect fruit, that is; not rotten. But I think that having it in baskets counts as trash. I don't really care because I already have the golden watering can and all the Jacob's Ladders I want, but Isabelle told me the villagers were complaining of trash, too. (I just checked.) The only thing it could be is the baskets of fruit around my plaza.

Everything counts as trash unfortunately. It's very frustrating because I used to love to decorate with gyroids, especially around Coco's house. They were her little army, lol. But I had to pick them up because they read as trash. Fruit baskets too.

Well dang ): I dont wanna sell them because they're perfect and Im waiting for them to be on premium ;_; I guess Ill take up the idea of putting them in the museum

Oh I didn't know about gyroids! I am using them as decor too, so it's good to know I will need to pick them up.

Yeah... Bevelle is covered in ores, mushrooms, fruit baskets, easter eggs, gyroids... I wondered for the longest time why I wasn't getting any jacob's ladders anymore, then I found out that my "decorations" were classed as junk

Well, call me a hoarder because I love my pretty things laying all around town ^^;

Didn't know about this. I've taken to leaving fruit baskets around my vaillgers houses (no particular reason, I just like to think they have food ready and waiting).
Haven't got perfect town yet. Maybe that had something to do with it

I think it's if you have more than ten items lying around, it counts as a negative rating on your town.

I have maybe five fruit baskets lying on the ground in my plaza and it doesn't seem to affect me.

I have 5 baskets of fruit in all my towns and they have a perfect rating.
Fruit is left out for the side players to give to the villagers.

When I left lollipops and perfect apples along the pathway Isabelle got mad.

Yeah,I'm probably not going to get a perfect town rating anytime soon.I checked the villager satisfaction thingy a while back and they were complaining about the town looking like "a dump".In addition to fruit baskets I have a bunch of gyroids and fossils on the ground as path markers and decorations.

Stuff like this is why I hope the next main Animal Crossing game actually lets you put stuff outside to decorate, like Happy Home Designer does.

everything counts as trash, well, except for mushrooms. I don't care, I decorate with fruit baskets around my picnic areas, wrapped gifts for DA visitors, sea shells on beach ramps, gyroids all around and on bridges.

Yeah, I have a bunch of fossils, ores, fruit baskets and candies laying around my town so no perfect rating for me. I can always just buy the golden watering can though.
