Tomorrow Sally is moving out of my town. In this case, today I excitedly ran up to my campsite to see who is visiting that I could potentially invite to move in.

What do you know: Gigi.
A frog.
I don't like frogs.
What's more, the last camper I had was also a frog - Camofrog.

Guess I'll just have to be surprised when Sally moves out and a new random villager moves in.

What are you guys' campsite disappointment stories?

I don't remember having any disappointing campsite stories, guess i'm lucky. :)

Ha, I finally just got rid of Gigi today. She was in my original town, and then she went to my cycling town. What a nightmare.

I also had Frobert in my main town at one point, and as for campers I have had both Camofrog and Drift in my main town.

I ALSO DO NOT LIKE FROGS! ARGH!

However, Prince is a dreamie of mine. But that's only because I call my boyfriend my frog prince, so he would have sentimental value.

I only just recently built the campsite so those two frogs are my first campers. I'm really hoping I'll get lucky eventually too and find someone I really like. I actually do love this whole campsite thing. :)

The game is like: "We know what you don't want, so we will only give you that!"

I like the frogs. They're always so happy when it rains. :)
I had Henry for a while, he was pretty funny. But ultimately not the kind of villager I wanted.

As for campsite stories though... There's often been times where I check to see who's camping in my tent and it's an ugly one. Like Velma (or any other goat, really).
I was pretty lucky a while ago to find Beau in there.

Except when you have a full town. Then I always get a dreamie in my campsite, lol.
Then the game is like: "Ooh, that person has 10 villagers in their town and still doesn't have his/her complete dream town yet, so lets give the player his/her dreamie in the campsite so that the player can't get the dreamy because the town is full *evil laughs*"

This will probably be a dumb question, but when you have a full town (10 villagers) they will still naturally move in and out over time, right?

I have never seen one dreamie in my campsite, but not only that I have never had a villger that was decent to trade ever show up. Every single one has been tier 1 no joke :(

yes they will

I'm not overly fond of them as well. I like Cousteau, Camofrog, and Ribbot.

I was plot resetting Lolly, and Beau, Julian, Mitzi, Butch, and Purrl all came to my campsite over the course of a thirty minutes or so. It took me eight hours of campsite resetting to get Lolly. >:U

I had Frobert move in from my niece's reject/voids via wifi. So I feel your pain. The frogs are cute, I just don't want them in my town. I ignored him completely for a month til he left. But it was hard, because he was really not that bad. After a month of him moping around by himself, I felt really guilty and glad to see him go so I could stop feeling guilty.

I've had a lot of crappy campers, like chickens and gorillas. Yuck. But you can always just do the camp reset until you find someone you like. If you're picky at all about villagers, I wouldn't recommend letting a random one move in without your say.

Also, love you line up. Hans, Mira, Elvis, Bertha, and Leonardo are all awesome!

Thanks! They're actually all originals except for Elvis who moved in last week. I've been very happy with them.

Cousteau is like the only one I like and that's only because of his adorable little moustache. :P

Some frogs are okay... but when one of the creepiest (and ugliest in my opinion) one moves into your town without your consent, and RIGHT IN FRONT OF A BRIDGE.... uh don't get me started. Diva... Dx<
