After obtaining both of their pictures, I'm now ready to give away Raymond and Sherb to people that will appreciate them! The rules for entering the giveaway are simple: if you want either Sherb or Raymond, reply to this thread (do not PM me) stating which villager you want and the reason why. Your reason could be literally anything, even something as simple as thinking they're cute. After the submission period ends, I'll choose 2 winners: one for each villager.
A few quick notes:
Neither of them are currently in boxes/have asked to leave. I'll start TTing them out after I choose the winners.
Both Sherb and Raymond are 100% original. The only gifts I gave them were fruit.
An open plot is not necessary. If I pick you, then I don't mind waiting until you're ready to receive the villager. I can hold onto Raymond for a non-TTer but I really want Sherb out soon.
If you are a winner, please do not resell the villager I give you (especially Raymond). I want them to go to forever homes, not to be used to make a profit.

im hoping for Raymond, as I’ve been looking for him since starting playing ACNH. He’s my last dreamie, so I’d love to be able to give him a new home on my island! I’ve already planned out the plot with special flowers and shrubs for his garden (lillies and roses, and white azaleas). His neighbors are going to be Bob and Marshal, who already live on either side of the space I’ve created. I think they’ll all get along well and I’d love to open up my island to him :,)

I think raymond is extremely cute but the reason I would like him is because I've been trying to find him for my wife cause she adores him and has been trying to get him since the beginning of acnh so I wanted to suprise her with him.

I'd really like Raymond for a friend I have, he's a huge Persona and cat-lover and he adores him since he gives off those vibes apparently haha. I'm more than positive when he finally gets the kitty he'll dress him up as a student and treasure him forever!

I love raymond because he looks like my cat, stripes, who passed away. I know raymond doesn't have stripes but he looks wise and sophisticated like my cat was

I'm after Raymond! I initially learned about him because his ~vibes when he was first designed reminded me so much of a character in a podcast I like I actually have no idea if his personality is like that character, but he's adorable and I've been hoping for him for my locked in cat villager~

Raymond is one of my favorite villagers in Animal Crossing which may seem cliche at this point but its the truth so... can't help it lol. Raymond was revealed to me by one of my friends and I fell immediately in love and was the first new villager for the game I saw at the time. Needless to say, I instantly became a Raymond fanatic and immediately put him as a dreamy on my dream list. I adore his look and I think he's one of the best designed villagers in the game and has earned his spot as the number 1 most popular. I love his slick but also somewhat natural color scheme which is a breath of fresh air when so many other villagers have wild, vivid colors. Not to say those villagers are bad, but Raymond's cooler color tone is both pleasing on the eyes and makes him more memorable. But that's just the tip of the iceberg on why I am obsessed with this guy's design. His heterochromia pops out and further adds to this villager's uniqueness. The addition of glasses also perfectly adds to the character and when coupled with his default clothing, gives the appearance of a shrewd businessman kitty. And to top it all off, that hair floof adds and element of cuteness and breaks up the monotony of his grey color scheme. It looks so fluffy!
Raymond sadly goes for insane amounts of NMT and he's one of the rarest villagers in the game due to how islands are rolled. So, I want to take this opportunity, even if its just a small chance, to get my perfect cat boi!

hi! i’d love raymond! i saw his and judy’s design once they were released, and absolutely loved how their concepts were different from other villagers i had before! i also love snooty and smug personalities - i actually have an island where all of them are of the two except pekoe! i’ve gotten judy, but i can’t get raymond because a lot of the auctions are out of my reach, so this is probably the closest i’ll get haha. thank you for hosting this by the way
My little sister would love Sherb! Her favorite animal is a goat and ever since she discovered this little guy, let me tell you, it’s been an obsession. An unhealthy one if you ask me lol. Since he doesn’t have a card she’s been going to islands when she can to try and test her luck, but no dice. Needless to say, if she got him I think she may or may not explode, both figuratively and physically!

I’d really like raymond as I Think he looks cool, I can’t afford the prices offered for him.. and when I offer what I got either A. People laugh at me or B. They think I’m scamming which isn’t even true to begin with.. why would I scam someone? That’s just mean.. I just wanna give him a good home where he’d stay forever.
Hey, this is really nice. As for me, I have been looking to get Raymond because he is a dreamy of a friend of mine. My friend has a lot of anxiety surrounding social interaction, especially with strangers, so he doesn't like visiting people or being visited unless he knows the person. So I've kept an eye open to get Raymond for him, I have spent around 80 NMTs trying to find him, but I've been unsuccessful. He is most definitely a hard catch, and I figure there's nothing to lose by posting here.
Hi, I really really really would like to get Raymond. I loooove cats and he is super super cute. I love the way he dresses (and the way he looks ofc haha). Plus I have a lot of female villages I'd like to have a male one, I heard that Raymond likes playing with them too hahaha. I am waiting for my last villager to make it 10 and I've been using a few miles ticket to look for him. I would appreciate it soooo much if I get to have him Thanks!!!
