Hmm I'm not too sure about that. I'd think that ordering it online they would ship it from a wearhouse they own? If you think about it, none of our stuff is at that gamestops yet, so I don't get why they would ship it to gamestop for release day just to have it leave there and go to your house lol thats how my brain worked it out -_- not sure if that's right though, just my thought.
Like I said though you should be able to pick one up anyway if you didn't get one mailed, and if they give you an issue just tell em you thing it's bullcrap because you DID technically preorder and you should get one too lol I don't think they're going to keep them from people. Only if they run out

Are you sure about this? I looked on gamestop's release schedule and AC:HHD is the only thing they have posted for that day. They often have the wrong info on the website so it's possible that it's just wrong but I just wanted to be sure before I drive there at 11pm lol

NEVERMIND, in a huge add on top of the list was the game.... NBA 2016 something rather. I guess i'll call my local gamestop to be extra sure that location is going to do the midnight release though

Hopefully I can get a poster if they receive a decent amount of stock. I remember when Harvest Moon games offered plush toys if you preordered. Every time it happened they were nice enough to give me one when I just walked in to buy the game.

thats super cute! I'm super thrilled to get a poster, I already have a bunch of nintendo posters and eventually will hang them in our gamer den when my husband and I move to a new house ;DPlease let us know what you hear
Well I called them and good news! There will be a midnight release for NBA 2016 and you can buy animal crossing hhd at the opening. The only thing is that the midnight release will vary from location to location depending on how many presale orders that actual GameStop location receives for the NBA game. So the best answer, as usual, is to call your local games to and ask. The guy I spoke to said its best to call a few days before for the most accurate answer.

That's awesome
that was very nice of her! I ended up getting 3 the morning of the release cause I asked the guy if I could come in a couple days later and have an extra one for my niece. So he gave me 3 lol now I have an extra not sure what I'll do with it, probably just hold onto it since I collect Nintendo stuff

In the UK those who pre ordered from GAME got a free poster as well (the first one)
As for gamestop in America, my mom didn't pre order anything. She just went in for one pack of cards and the cashier had a stack of them they were just handing out to anyone who wanted one

Wow sorry for delay I didn't see this on my threads lol I had a feeling they would give out the extras they had but if they only got a few of them per store they were going to reserve them for those who preordered
